Golfing is a spectacular sport in maine, with some of the finest courses in the country. many courses offer not only the finest facilities, but an unsurpassed view of the vibrant blue Atlantic Ocean, as well. Some very fine dining can also be enjoyed whether or not you spend the day on the links.

Hiking: Climb to the top of beautiful Mt. Battie or hike down to the ocean from the Camden Hills State Park. You can hike alone with your own group, or use a guide. Maiden’s Cliff Trail offers spectacular panoramic views of Lake Megunticook. Other trail maps available at the State Park. The islands of Vinal-haven and North Haven, are just a short ferry ride from Rockland, and offer wonderful hiking paths and deep,clear quarries for a refreshing swim enroute!
